What is Rehametrics’ virtual reality for physiotherapy?
The Rehametrics virtual reality module is designed for immersive rehabilitation of the upper limb and functional training in physiotherapy. It combines therapeutic exercises, functional tasks and standardised assessments to improve the patient’s range of motion, strength, coordination, motor control and functionality in meaningful contexts, from post-surgical recovery through to a return to activity.
Through immersive virtual reality and mixed reality, patients interact naturally with virtual objects and environments using hand tracking, without the need for controllers, sensors or gloves. Compatible with Meta Quest 3 and 3S, the system automatically adapts the difficulty of the exercises to the patient’s performance in order to maintain an optimal level of therapeutic challenge.
