Occupational therapy software
It combines immersive virtual reality and mixed reality to personalise treatments and monitor patient progress. It includes over 70 exercises for the upper limbs, hands and activities of daily living, with hand tracking that allows for natural hand movements.
The limitations of conventional occupational therapy
Traditional clinical practice presents three barriers that compromise therapeutic outcomes:
Reduced adhesion
Repetitive handling tasks demotivate patients and lead to an increase in treatment non-adherence
Limited control
Assessing manipulative behaviour in real time relies on direct observation by the therapist
Slow customisation
Manually adjusting the difficulty of each task during the session disrupts the therapeutic flow
Rehametrics VR addresses all three with a single, integrated system.
What is the Rehametrics VR Module?
The Rehametrics VR Module is designed for immersive rehabilitation of the upper limb and training in activities of daily living. It combines therapeutic exercises, functional tasks and standardised assessments to help clinicians work on patients’ sensorimotor recovery, coordination, manipulative skills, motor control and functionality in meaningful contexts.
Through immersive virtual reality and mixed reality, patients interact naturally with virtual objects and environments using hand tracking, without the need for controllers, sensors or gloves. Compatible with Meta Quest 3 and 3S, the system automatically adapts the difficulty of the exercises to the patient’s performance to maintain an optimal level of therapeutic challenge.
In five steps, from the intervention to the report:
Define clinical objectives based on the patient’s motor and functional profile
Select exercises tailored to your condition and manual dexterity
The patient works whilst wearing the glasses and the therapist sees exactly what the patient sees in real time on their computer
The difficulty level is adjusted automatically or manually during the session without interrupting it
A detailed clinical report is generated upon completion, including response times, performance and biomechanical parameters.
Result: a more immersive, more measurable form of therapy that is fully tailored to the patient.
What you can treat
Rehametrics VR is suitable for a wide range of clinical profiles and conditions, whether in the clinic or at home, from the first session right through to discharge.
Stroke and acquired brain damage
Functional recovery of the upper limb in patients with hemiparesis following a stroke, traumatic brain injury or acquired brain injury. Immersive environments facilitate intensive repetition of movements aimed at functional goals and enhance adherence to treatment.
Spinal cord injury
Training to improve reach, manipulation, coordination and upper limb function in patients with incomplete spinal cord injury. The exercises can be adapted to each patient’s motor level and residual abilities.
Parkinson's disease
Specific programmes designed to improve range of motion, speed of movement, coordination and manual dexterity. Virtual reality facilitates more intensive and motivating training to combat bradykinesia and functional limitations.
Multiple sclerosis
Interventions aimed at improving coordination, motor precision, movement control and upper limb function, automatically adapting the level of difficulty to the patient’s clinical condition.
Musculoskeletal injuries of the upper limb
Rehabilitation of the shoulder, elbow, wrist and hand following surgery, trauma or degenerative conditions. The system enables patients to work on mobility, coordination and functional recovery through progressive and measurable exercises.
Hand injuries and hand surgery
Recovery following fractures, tendon or nerve injuries, or surgical procedures. The exercises help to improve dexterity, fine motor skills, finger mobility, precision and functionality in everyday activities.
Cerebral palsy in children and paediatric neurology
Functional upper-limb training using gamified activities tailored to children and adolescents. The immersive experience boosts motivation and encourages active participation during therapy.
Active ageing and functional prevention
Programmes aimed at maintaining manual dexterity, hand-eye coordination and functional independence in older people, promoting active and healthy ageing.
Activities of daily living (ADLs)
Targeted work on functional tasks such as reaching, handling objects, bimanual coordination and motor sequencing, with the aim of improving independence in everyday activities.
What does the VR Module do?
The VR Module focuses on upper limb rehabilitation, manipulative skills and functional independence, with objective monitoring of each variable, without the need for prior calibration and without interrupting the session.

- Immediate feedback
- Faster and more noticeable functional improvement
- Help with pain and kinesiophobia
For professionals
- Objective data for each session, with no manual recording required
- Continuous, exportable tracking
- Automatic, exportable reports for medical records
- Precise adjustment of difficulty and exercise settings
PROFESSIONAL OPINIONS
"Virtual reality has become an essential tool in occupational therapy. It enables us to create functional and safe environments that promote neuroplasticity, boost patient motivation and help overcome the fear of movement. As well as improving adherence to treatment, it delivers measurable results in terms of motor function and independence, making rehabilitation more effective and evidence-based."
